EJA was once again engaged by Aspire Design & Construct to survey the old Bunnings Building. EJA used 3D laser scanning and conventional topographic survey to facilitate detailed engineering design. Accurate capture of existing structural elements, and provision of 3D vector line work and cleaned point cloud deliverables. From the point cloud, we were able to extract accurate existing I-Beam and column locations to place new structural steel & hold down bolt designs, and set them out. This eliminated any guess work in fitting the new design to existing building elements.
